Winter special breakfast recipe | Mix Vegetable thepla | Healthy Breakfast

Thepla is one of the signature Gujarati dishes that never lost its charm. Mix veg thepla is one of the most popular and healthy Gujarati breakfast. We can eat thepla with pickles, curd,lehsun chutney, and mint. You can store thepla for 2 to 3 days. Thepla also helps to weight loss. its ingredients can help us to burn calories which makes us use our energy and this is due to the presence of elements like vitamin B-complex, and fiber in it. My step-by-step instructions with photos and video will show you how to easily make this classic thepla recipe with fresh fenugreek leaves and whole wheat flour.

 Total Time: 30 minutes


NOTE: 

 You can add or remove the vegetables according to availability and your preference.

From the given material 10 to 12 theplas can be made.


INGREDIENTS:

  •  1 cup wheat flour
  • 2 tbsp finely shredded cabbage
  • 2 tbsp finely shredded  carrot
  • 2 tbsp finely shredded  bottle gourd
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped  capsicum
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped   onion
  • finely chopped coriander as required
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 spoon red chili powder
  • 1/4 spoon black salt
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/4 spoon turmeric powder
  • 1/4 spoon garlic paste
  • 1 1/2 spoon oil
  • water as required
  • 1 bowl whole wheat flour
  • ghee or oil as required



METHOD:-



  1. Take 1 cup wheat flour in a vessel.

  2. Add 2 tbsp finely shredded cabbage.

  3. Add 2 tbsp finely shredded carrots.

  4. Add 2 tbsp finely shredded bottles of the gourd.

  5. Add 1 tbsp finely chopped capsicum.

  6. Add 2 tbsp finely chopped onion.

  7. Add some finely chopped coriander.

  8. Salt to taste.

  9. Add ½ spoon red chili powder.

  10. Add ¼ spoon black salt.

  11. Add ½ tsp cumin powder.

  13. Add ¼ spoon garlic paste.

  14. Add 1 to 1 ½ spoon of oil.

  15. Mix it well.

  16. Now add some water and make its dough.



  17. Now make medium-sized balls.

  18. Take a ball and dust it with whole wheat flour.

  19. Now give it the shape of chapati.

  20. Now heat up the pan and add 1 tbsp ghee. For roasting thepla, you may use oil instead of ghee (clarified butter).

  21. Put the thepla on it and roast it for half a minute from both sides.
