Indian Snacks Recipes| Dabeli Cone | Dabeli Cone Recipe in Hindi

         


           Ingredients

For making dough:


  • 1 cup wheat flour.
  • 1 cup maida.
  • Salt to taste.
  • ¼ spoon carom seeds.
  • 3 tbsp oil.
  • Water as per requirement.


To Fry cone:


  • oil


To prepare cone stuffing:


  • 1 bowl of tamarind chutney
  • 2 tbsp dabeli masala
  •  2 tbsp oil
  • 5 to 6 boiled and mashed potatoes
  •  2  tbsp schezwan sauce
  • 2 spoons of masala Singh.
  • Finely chopped onion
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Grilled cheese



Garnishing:-

  • finely chopped onion
  • nylon sev
  • masala Singh
  • cheese or tomato ketchup



Method:-


Mix all the ingredients and make its medium soft dough.

After making the dough add 1 spoon of oil and again mix it. Let it rest for 10 to 15 mins.

After 15 mins make its balls and roll it like chapati with medium to thick consistency.


On that chapati prick it with a fork at small distances. [ By this step when you will fry the cone at that time it will not  ]



1st style to make cone:-



Now make its strips in some distance.


Take a cone mold and roll 1 strip on out layer of cone mold, start rolling from the downside.


When the first strip rolled then take another strip and roll from the end of the first strip and repeat this process till the mold covers.[At the time of rolling secure it by lightly pressing it]




2nd style to make cones:-


Divide the chapati into four parts.


Now take 1 piece of it and roll it on the outer layer of cone mold.


While rolling the cone add some water on 1 end to secure it.



To fry cone:-


Heat the oil in a vessel. And fry the cones until their color changes into golden brown.[Fry on medium to low flame]

Its color should be like this.

Now take it out on tissue paper. After 2 to 3 minutes, take out the mold.


To prepare cone stuffing:-


Take 1 bowl of tamarind chutney and add 2 tbsp dabeli masala.

Take 2 tbsp oil in a pan.

Add the tamarind chutney in it and mix it 1 time.

Add  5 to 6 boiled and mashed potatoes and make their mixture.



Add 2  tbsp schezwan sauce.[ Instead of schezwan sauce you can also add garlic chutney]

Add 2 spoons of masala singh.

After mixing it well add some finely chopped onion and again mix it properly.

Final process to make dabeli cone:-


Add 2 tbsp butter to a pan.

When the butter melts a bit add the dabeli masala mixture to it.

Then add 2 to 3 spoons of tamarind chutney [ You can add chutney as you needed].

Add some finely chopped onion and some masala Singh.

Finally, add the grilled cheese as you required and mix it for a minute.


Now take a fried cone and add stuffing in it.


Garnishing:-


Pour finely chopped onion at the top of the stuffed cone.

Pour masala Singh on it.

Then pour nylon masala sev on it.

At last, greet the cheese on it or you can pour some tomato ketchup on it.


Keep it on your serving plate and your yummy dabeli cone is ready to serve.
